Abstract:  The replacement method of the bowl wall of the cone crusher. The bowl wall has a U-shaped screw attached to the adjustment ring, and zinc alloy is injected between the two to make it tightly fit. When installing or replacing the bowl wall, after working for 6-8 hours, its fastening condition should be checked and the U-shaped screw should be tightened again. 

(1) Method for replacing the bowl wall of cone crusher

The rolling bowl wall has U-shaped screws attached to the adjustment ring, and zinc alloy is injected between the two to ensure a tight fit. When installing or replacing the rolling bowl wall, after working for 6-8 hours, the fastening condition should be checked and the U-shaped screws should be tightened again.

(2) Replacement method of cone crushing wall

The conical crushing wall is fixed on the conical body with a conical head, and a zinc alloy is cast between them. After 6-8 hours of operation, the fastening of the newly installed or replaced conical crushing wall should be checked, and any looseness should be immediately tightened.

(3) Method for replacing gear mesh of cone crusher

Due to friction causing wear on the circular plate and affecting the variation of gear clearance, it is necessary to add shims on the bottom cover to ensure normal meshing of the gears. The thickness of the shims should be equal to the amount of wear on the circular plate.

(4) Method for bearings and sealing devices of cone crusher

When installing bowl shaped bearings, be careful not to damage the oil blocking ring with the steel wire rope (support it between the steel wire ropes with hardwood or other materials). During assembly, the supporting spherical surface should be scraped and ground to ensure that the broken cone and bowl shaped mutual spherical surface are in contact with the outer circle, and the inner ring should have a circular gap of 0.35-0.5mm. The bowl shaped bearing shell is fixed on the bowl shaped bearing frame with locking nails filled with Ba Hua alloy around it, preventing the bowl shaped bearing shell from rotating along the circumference. The bowl shaped bearing frame and the frame are fixed with keys (pins). If there is a gap between the bowl shaped bearing frame and the frame during operation, it must be dealt with immediately.


(5) The cylindrical liner and the frame are the third type of transitional fit. In order to prevent the rotation of the liner, zinc alloy is injected into the upper groove of the liner. When replacing the new liner, it should be prepared according to the actual size of the frame, because the crusher will inevitably change the fitting relationship after long-term work and loading and unloading. If the gap is too large, it will cause the liner to rupture.

(6) Method for replacing conical bushings

The sleeve and the eccentric shaft should be tightly fitted, and zinc alloy should be injected to prevent the cone sleeve from rotating. The zinc alloy should fill all gaps. Due to the possibility of deformation of the cone sleeve caused by hot injection of zinc alloy, the dimensions of the new cone sleeve should be checked. If any errors are found, they should be corrected in a timely manner. When manufacturing spare parts, they should be prepared according to the actual size of the eccentric sleeve inner diameter to maintain the original fit.

(7) Method for replacing the spring of cone crusher

The function of the cone crusher spring is to protect the crusher from damage when it enters an unbreakable object, so the pressure of the spring is adapted to the crushing force of the crusher. During normal operation of the crusher, the spring does not move, and only lifts the support sleeve when the iron block falls into the crushing chamber, causing the crusher to overload, resulting in the compression of the spring. The upper part of the cone crusher experiences jumping during normal operation, which is an abnormal phenomenon that must be carefully analyzed. The cause must be identified and measures taken to eliminate it,

If the spring is compressed incorrectly, not only will it not work properly, but it may also cause damage to the parts, as compressing the spring will increase the crushing force. There are several reasons that cause the upper part of the crusher to bounce:

A、 Uneven or excessive feeding of ore

B、 The ore contains too many small pieces and powdery ores, or the humidity is too high

C、 The gap between the discharge ports is too small.
